WHAT IS HAPPENNING RIGHT NOW?:

  • Today finally has started the training on “Teach how to teach”. We will be covering sessions as psychology of teaching, teaching through art, music and games, how to prepare lessons, communication and debate. After this training the new 4 local nepalese english teachers will be ready to teach independently and receive remuneration for their work! Well done to all participants.

  • “Teach to teach” is a program that gives opportunities to young people who live in earthquake survivals camps.

    We have started English classes in 4 camps in Kathmandu. Classes are held two hours per day, 5 hours a week.

    Finally, 4 young Nepalese living in the camps have become English teachers. They were volunteering and learning for  2 weeks. After showing motivation and enthusiasm for learning and for this project,they have attended a  3-day course “Training of Trainers” and now receive remuneration for their work.

PROXIMOS EVENTOS: Ya casi esta todo listo para empezar a construir la tienda comunitaria en el campo de Swoyambu. Para desarrollar las clases de ingles y muchas mas actividades.

QUE ESTÁ PASANDO AHORA MISMO:

Hoy por fin hemos comenzado el curso de formación “Enseñar a enseñar”.  El curso consta de sesiones como psicología de la enseñanza, la enseñanza a través del arte, la música y los juegos, la forma de preparar las clases, la comunicación y el debate. Después de esta formación  los nuevos cuatro profesores de inglés nepalíes estarán listos para enseñar de manera independiente y recibir una remuneración por su trabajo! Enhorabuena a todos los participantes.

“Enseñar a enseñar” es un programa que consiste en dar oportunidades a los jóvenes que viven en los campamentos de supervivientes del terremoto.

Hemos empezado clases de inglés en 4 campamentos en Kathmandu. Las clases se imparten 2 horas al día,5 horas a a semana.

Finalmente, 4 jóvenes nepalíes que viven en los campamentos se han convertido en profesores de inglés. Han practicado y aprendido con cuatro voluntarios, después de mostrar motivación y entusiasmo por el programa, han atendido el curso de 3 dias: “Formación de Formadores” y ahora reciben remuneración por su trabajo.
